Title: Specialist - Data Analytics and Engineering (fully work-from-home role)

General Function
We’re expanding our global Enterprise Data & Analytics team and looking for a hands-on professional who can bridge technology and business outcomes. As a Data Analytics & Engineering Specialist, the role would design, build, and optimize the data pipelines and analytics tools that drive our enterprise reporting, operational insights, and continuous service improvement (CSI) programs.

Role will deliver clean, trusted, and accessible data for use across Finance, Operations, HR, and Service Delivery. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment. The ability to work in a strong team environment, sharing responsibilities and knowledge, is critical. The selected candidate will display business discipline that encompasses the people, infrastructure, and processes necessary for the effective management, control, and protection of users and policies within an organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Analytics Delivery
  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL workflows across enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HCM, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Integrate and transform data within our enterprise data lake and warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, SQL Server) for use in analytics and reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Quicksight.
  • Support analytics use cases that improve service performance, resource utilization, and operational KPIs.
  • Automate recurring reporting and support ad hoc data analysis requests
  • Support integration of AI/ML tools and analytics automation as part of ongoing modernization
Business Partnership & CSI
  • Collaborate with business leaders and analysts to define metrics, KPIs, and success measures that align with enterprise objectives.
  • Provide actionable insights to drive continuous service improvement, cost optimization, and risk reduction.
  • Partner with process owners to identify recurring issues and use data to improve root cause analysis and prevention.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, repeatable data solutions that support  operational excellence.
Governance & Quality
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of enterprise data through validation, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives and contribute to data cataloging and metadata management.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, streamline data flows, and enhance visibility across systems.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4–7 years of combined experience in data engineering and analytics
  • 3+ years of experience design and tuning a MSP environment
  • Strong SQL development skills; experience with Python or another scripting language preferred
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Quicksight, Tableau, or Looker
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and visualization best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills across technical and business team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Advanced or expert knowledge and understanding of multiple IT areas or architecture and core business functions.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with assigned work schedule.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and follow-up skills. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment, presenting a professional image and commanding the respect of staff and peers.
  • Requires strong initiative, detail orientation, ability to interpret problems and decisive decision-making skills.
  • Position requires the ability to work various hours through the week.
  • Self-motivated to understand and analyze business processes and recommends improvements.
  • Exercises appropriate judgment and discretion in the prioritization of tasks/workload, escalation of issues/incidents and interacts with clients and vendors.
  • Interacts and communicates in a way that promotes respects, collaborations, and overall high performance of the team and the organization.
